Il mestiere non si improvvisa né si impara sui banchi di scuola. E’ da generazioni che la cura delle pelli è l’attività principale della nostra famiglia. Ci siamo adeguati ai tempi facendo tesoro di un’esperienza secolare, tramandata da padre in figlio, mantenendo sempre alla base del nostro lavoro l’antica dedizione e cortesia nei rapporti con i clienti. Raccogliere le pelli direttamente dai macelli ci ha insegnato a rispettare e preservare un materiale che da residuo della macellazione diventa, dopo sapienti lavorazioni, un’opera d’arte durevole nel tempo e pienamente ecostenibile.
A job is something you can’t improvise or learn at school. Taking care of hides has been the main activity of our family for generations. We adapted to the times treasuring an experience of almost a century, handed down from father to children, keeping always as ground for our work the ancient devotion and courtesy in the relationships with customers. Collecting hides directly from slaughterhouses taught us to respect and preserve a material that from by-product of the meat industry becomes, after skilful crafts and processes, a work of art durable in time and completely sustainable.
